We are looking for staff for our beautiful 4-star hotel, situated near Blois, Chambord and Cheverny, in a prestigious setting:

- A MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (M/F)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel and for the upkeep of the premises, whilst complying with current safety regulations and meeting the deadlines for the tasks assigned to them.

You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of our guests on a daily basis by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on the premises and guest rooms, as well as ensuring the safety of property and people.


Your responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel and its facilities,
  • Diagnose any faults in the facilities,
  • Manage and carry out repairs to electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning and heating systems,
  • Carry out repairs to various fixtures and fittings (paintwork, flooring, joinery, etc.),
  • Keep the building’s locks and fittings in good working order,
  • Manage relations with external partners and ensure maintenance contracts are monitored,
  • Manage the procurement of equipment required to carry out your duties whilst adhering to the budget,
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards,
  • Help prepare for health and safety inspections,
  • Take part in the renovation project,
  • Through these tasks, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and experience within our establishment.

Job description

You’re a real handyman!
You know how to carry out plasterwork, cut grooves, replace glass panes or paint walls. You can work on electrical installations (connecting, fitting, checking, etc.), identify faults and diagnose them. You can maintain sanitary facilities and replace plumbing.

You are meticulous, a perfectionist and well-organised.
You are mindful of safety considerations in premises open to the public.
You are independent and responsive.
You have a good sense of priorities and know how to take the initiative.
You are committed to maintaining a healthy and friendly atmosphere within the team.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, responsive, cheerful, warm and keen to make a long-term commitment.
Good knowledge of the Office suite. Relevant experience is required.
